Warnings and Recommendations
Mohsen Sazgara suggested a number of solutions in his blog regarding the use of Graffiti on the
street walls. Here is a summery of his suggestions:
Take these into consideration while taking pictures: Do not take pictures right after you wrote on
the wall; never keep the spray in your backpack; do not just take pictures of the slogans,
have/take pictures of surrounding or any other pictures in your cell phone/camera (that makes it
less suspicious); make the frame in such a way that you are taking pictures of something else; if
anyone asked do not get angry or agitated, just apologize and act like you are going to delete the
picture. Don’t get nervous! Try to stay calm at all times. Don’t take pictures right away!

Don’t write on buildings’ walls or places that you know it can't be covered/colored afterwards
Don’t write in places that you know you might get caught

Tools and their use respectively upon their harm: Pen→ to write on money, posters, and
notifications on the walls (at universities, work…); water proof markers→ phone boots, glass
windows,… ; spray→ walls, pedestrian bridges, traffic signs
